My Teaching Philosophy

In my teaching philosophy, I strongly believe that singing is an incredibly personal and meaningful form of self-expression. It's my mission to inspire my students to discover and embrace their unique voice, creating a supportive and nurturing environment for them to explore their vocal abilities and build confidence.

I prioritize vocal health, breath support, and fundamental techniques in my teaching approach, helping students to develop a strong foundation in vocal technique that will enable them to sing with greater ease, emotion, and authenticity.

“When I came in at the start, my voice felt stifled and like it didn't belong to me anymore. Now I feel more comfortable in my voice than I ever have, and Daiyao have played an integral part in getting me here. Singing means the world to me, and so has her teaching. I've never had another vocal teacher impact me so greatly. "
